Liberals…?
Exactly how do you condone the failure to conform to traditional society.
Let’s examine a few individualists (none-conformists) Who were convinced that they were doing good for society.
Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus: Very individual. He had a mind of his own. Genius? yes. Tyrant? yes. Insane? yes. Who else but a none-conformist would push their own will on their fellow man? Nero was an evil maniac. When Rome burned, who did he blame? The Christians. Did he blame those responsible? no. In fact, while his people were dying in the largest fire ever to rage in Rome, he decided to express himself by playing music and singing. He left Rome in Utter ruin.
Charels Manson – A hippy to the extreme. An individualist who decided that he was a supreme being. That it was his sole responsibility to start a vicious war between Blacks and Whites for the salvation of society. The result: Murder, and not by his own hands, but those of his followers.
Adolf Hitler – A true artist, but a rejected one. In his youth, an individual who’s goal in life was to become an artist. But when he was rejected from are school what did he do? He tried to force his beliefs (which differed from traditional ones)The result: A total of over 21 million people murdered.
Hiemrick Himler – Adolf Hitler’s right-hand man. Personally responsible for the incineration of hundreds of thousands of Jewish people.
Tomas de Torquemada – An individualist, and torturer. Thousands of innocent people were tortured and killed by him. After all tradition didn’t seem to work for him.
Vlad Tepes – Yet another none-conformist who viewed himself as god. His thirst for blood was never cured until the day of his death, but the pain that he inflicted upon his society was never assuaged.
Mao Tse-tung – Mao Tse-tung didn’t like Chinese traditional culture, so, what did he do? Destroyed it. He killed aver 50 million people, and left China in ruin.
Need I name more?
Liberals: Were you satisfied with my list, or do you want me name more of your people. Tell me, Why is it that so many of you are fond of communism?
I know that this argument will come up, so ,I may as well address it now. Many of you will say that Jesus was a radical none-conformist. Actually, he was fighting against the new Rome. In traditional Rome people were free to worship as they pleased. In a way, he fought to return Rome to it’s former “glory”. If you really want to examine this religiously, then take Satan into account. Was he not a radical? Was he not rebelling against the traditional society?
Liberals: How can you condone none-conformity.
First, I just wanted to point out that Hitler and his ilk were decidedly on the conservative side of the spectrum in regard to his social policies. But he, like every other example you used, is on the far fringe of whichever side of the political spectrum they happen to be on.
Second, you’re assuming that because of a few examples over such a large time span are representative of everyone who does not conform to your ideal of traditional society. I lost count of the number of logical fallacies you’ve demonstrated, to be honest.
Third, as you decided to include Hitler, who was not only socially VERY conservative but also fervently claimed to be a Christian, by your logic, could I not say that all Christians are evil or whatever, simply because Hitler was a Christian?
