Rules and Regulations for Writing Poetry

You have been writing poetry ever since that first task in your writing class when you were in school. You are familiar with the rules regarding writing poetry, correct? Are there regulations? Workgroups / Dameware / UNC Paths?
All right, I’ve got a few questions really.
1. Dameware – I know how to use it, and I have quite a bit, where I work, we use a domain, so it’s pretty simple, I use a Windows NT Challenge/Response and use my own credentials when connecting to a user’s machine and that’s that. My question is, does Dameware work the same when on a workgroup? Or even just on the same network? I’ve got 2 PC’s are my house, both are just workstations, no servers/domains. I never specified a Workgroup for them to join. I cannot connect to one machine with Dameware using the other, or vice versa. I know just being on the same network isn’t the same as a domain because there are no shared usernames/passwords. I had expected this, so both machines had the same username, and password, and I still couldn’t connect to it.
2. Again, being on a domain, I am also able to browse a computer using the UNC path (i.e. \computernamec$). Is this possible on a workgroup? Or do the computers HAVE to be on a domain? Or is it even possible just being on the same network? (I realize that for this question, and the first question just being on the same network is probably a no because of the fact that there are no shared usernames/passwords so I’d need the username and password of an account on the machine. Again didn’t work.
3. Guess this should have been the first question but, with concerning workgroups, how do they work? I know they need to be on the same network right? Also, how do I tell if both of my PC’s are on the same workgroup, they should be able to see each other in My Network Places right? When I join both PC’s together on a workgroup, is there any username/password sharing like there is on a domain? (i.e. I can log into all PC’s with the same username, even if the account isn’t made on the local machine, the way it is on a domain?) If so, I’m sure I’m all set with using a UNC path, and Dameware fine. If not however, will I still be able to use Dameware? And will I be able to browse the other PC on the workgroup using it’s UNC path? (again, \computernamec$)
I do currently work in the IT profession, I realize this is probably alot of information I should already know, but I’m only 17 and my experience is limited at the moment, I’m still in the process of learning all I can.
Any help at all will be appreciated, and of course, awarding the best answer. Thanks in advance.
So if I’m not on a domain, I won’t be able to browse the PC using it’s UNC path? Or use Dameware to take remote control?
The domain ensures sync of security IDs, passwords, User names , computer access rights, shares, audit trails and other forms of ID management.
A work group does not do this. Al the same things are still there. But you have to provide the required access rights the acces the computer and it stuff.
The reason it does not work is the ID’s don’t match.
